The 1899 Inn was a great 3-star hotel with exceptionally clean rooms. I loved staying in the former library room, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Every staff member was courteous and attentive. The breakfast was outstanding, with a variety of homemade goods including bread. The location was marvelous, close to skiing, the historical cemetery, and downtown area. Plus, being relatively near Mount Moriah Cemetery was convenient.

Stunningly beautiful place, I appreciated courteous personnel.
The rooms were delightful and beautiful, had smoke detectors for safety. The location was marvellous, just a short walk away from Mount Moriah Cemetery. Besides, it was very close to the historical cemetery and downtown area, main attractions and downtown activities.

We had a great stay at 1899 Inn in Deadwood and would definitely recommend it. The bed was comfortable and we had a restful sleep. The free Wi-Fi was a great added bonus. In the evenings, we enjoyed drinks and the lively atmosphere at nearby Jacob's Brewhouse & Grocer.
